what does ta ta for now do to increase gender equality?

We increase youth access to sports and education by addressing a significant need that often goes unnoticed.  Ta Ta for Now, Inc. works with compassionate people just like you who collect essential items like bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products. We host a variety of events throughout the year, including fundraising, community outreach events, and volunteer opportunities. If we work together, we believe every girl will have the essentials to wear to school and compete in sports tomorrow. 

We designed Ta Ta for Now to serve one of the most vulnerable, yet difficult-to-reach groups: female youth ages 11-17. The longer these students are out of school, the greater their risk of succumbing to criminal activity, substance abuse, and the persistent dangers associated with poverty. By providing assistance, we not only improve their prospects for individual achievement, but also help to contribute to the long-term stability and safety of their community.  

 Ta Ta for Now has donated necessities internationally to the Too Little Children's Pad Project in Kenya and their Jemo House; Relief in Turkey; Ukrainian refugees in Poland, and girls in Israel. 

In the United States, Ta Ta for Now has provided items to Adopt-a-Family in Lake Worth Beach; the Palm Beach County School Board; the Lord’s Place in West Palm Beach; The Hands and Feet - Palm Beach; The YWCA; The Cancer Alliance, Palm Beach;  the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League; the City of Greenacres; Communities in Schools; and Lake Worth Middle School.
